A/Prof Michael Elliott is a highly trained Ear, Nose and Throat, Head & Neck Surgeon from Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney. He specialises in benign and malignant conditions of the head and neck, thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland treating and also treats general Ear, Nose and Throat conditions in children and adults. A/Prof Michael Elliott main area of interest is in thyroid and parathyroid surgery and runs the Thyroid Multidisciplinary Team meeting at Lifehouse. Within general ENT conditions, his main area of interest is in rhinology and sleep.
A/Prof Michael Elliott completed his advance training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 2008 and then travelled to London to complete a Head and Neck Fellowship at Guy’s Hospital, London. A/Prof Michael Elliott collaborates with University of Sydney, University of Technology and Garvan Medical Institute in translational and clinical research. He is involved in medical student teaching, is a surgical mentor to University of Sydney Medical students and has supervised a number of students enrolled in Masters degrees in the University of Sydney.
A/Prof Michael Elliott currently holds public hospital appointments at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital. He also operates privately at a number of hospitals in Sydney.
