General Medicine is the branch of medicine dealing with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic adult diseases. Whilst many aspects overlap with general practitioners in Australia, General Physicians are skilled in the management of patients with complex multi-system diseases.
In additional to complex medical patients, we also have started Rapid Access Clinics to allow early investigations and follow-ups of patient. We aim to have patients seen, investigated, managed and diagnosed rapidly depending on the condition in collaboration with local imaging and pathology providers.
